2021  On-Line  200  HR,  Ansuara  Yoga  Immersion  &  Teacher  Training with Adam Ballenger on YogaVibes

This training is Yoga Alliance accredited as well as accepted by Anusara Yoga for the 200 hour teacher training.  Lead by Adam Ballenger, “experienced  certified advanced trainer”, ”subject matter specialist”, “E-RYT 500”, International  Guest Trainer, and sometimes humorous fellow.  Adam brings decades of meditation, mindfulness, and philosophical studies as well as both undergraduate and graduate work in human physiology, anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology.    The  200  Hour  program,  recognized  by  Yoga  Alliance  and  Ansuara  Yoga,  is  made  up  of  two  sub-sections  described  below.    Both  Ansuara  Yoga  and  Yoga  Alliance  require  200  hour  for  certification  recognition.    If  you  decide  to  do  one  section  or  the  other,  please  understand  this  is  not  enough  for  professional  credentials.    

The 100 Hour Anusara “Personal Practice” Immersion, 

focuses on philosophy, meditation, anatomy, asana practice and more.  (You can register for the "Personal Practice" Immersion section by itself).  If you've been doing more online yoga than ever and feel like some dedicated focus on how to practice, how to align your body, what to consider when you are getting ready to practice or finishing up, or how to begin your mindfulness or meditation practice, this may be exactly what you need.  This portion of the training is the essence of personal practice, that an individual may use to further their own art of practice and/or use as teaching material if they decide to teach yoga.  Multiple  forms  of  meditation,  biomechanics  and  alignment,  history ,  journaling,  Metta  practices  and  more  will  make  up  this  100  hours  of  training.    If  you  are  becoming  a  home  practitioner  and  have  been  thinking  there  is  more  out  there  that  would  help  you  refine  your  personal  practice,  this  portion  of  the  training  is  designed  to  refine,  answer  questions,  and  bring  depth  to  your  personal  practice.

The  100  Hour  Anusara  “Teaching  Skills”  Immersion,  

focuses  on  the  application  of  practice  techniques,  techniques  for  sharing  these  practice  skills,  communication  tools,  sequencing,  observation  skills,  and  more.    In  this  100  hours  of  training  a  student  or  someone  who  is  already  a  yoga  instructor  is  introduced  to  the  practice  of  being  an  educator  of  yoga  practice.    This  often  includes  brief  review  of  practice  skills  and  then  the  refinement  of  how  to  present  this  in  multiple  learning  avenues  to  others.    Parenthetical  verbal  teaching,  visual  demonstrations,  direct  verbal  cues,  an  introduction  to  using  a  “Systems  Theory”  approach  to  teaching,  how  to  link  cue’s,  when  to  when  to  slow  down,  back-up,  or  move  forward  on  skills  development  when  teaching  asana  and  more.      

Where:

This  training  will  be  presented  on-line through the YogaVibes online yoga business,  each  session  (with  the  possible  exception  of  some  practice  portions,  pre -designated)  will  be  recorded  and  made  available  to  the  participants  for  45  days  from  the  day  the  session  posts  on-line.    You  are  encouraged  to  review  the  recordings,  practice  the  techniques,  and  refresh  the  materials  in  your  memory.    These  recordings  are  not  downloadable.    The  training  will  typically  be  shot  and  recorded  from  Salt  Lake  City,  Utah  and  the  Mountain  Time  Zone.    You  are  encouraged  to  access  the  training  online  from  wherever  you  can  connect  well  and  have  the  space  to  practice  and  focus.

Expectations:

Participants  are  expected  to  purchase  the  appropriate  manuals,  have  a  place  to  focus  and  practice  with  the  group  during  group  hours.    Participants  are  also  expected  to  be  able  to  access  the  sessions  and  information  online.    To  obtain  credentials,  credit  hours  and  recognition  of  completion,  in  persons,  on-line,  live  attendance  is  expected.    Some  execptions  will  be  made  for  minor  absences,  review  of  recorded  materials  and  make-up  hours  will  be  expected  (make-up  hours  of  live  attendance  may  have  to  be  of  other  materials).
